Dog Day Acres Labrador Retrievers excel as detection dogs, hunting dogs and active family pets. I have selected specific lines with both field trial and hunt test champions that have proven to be excellent detection dogs, hunting partners, hunt tests, and as active companions.
I offer puppies, green dogs, started, and finished dogs to LEO, detection, SAR, hunting, and sport homes. Handler schools and private training are available whether you purchase a K9 from me or not.

Dog Day Acres Labrador Retrievers is a breeder of detection and hunting Labrador Retrievers based in Lucas, Iowa. I have been training detection dogs since 2001 and am now starting a breeding program focused on level headed dogs with an insatiable desire to work with their partner.
